Zumaia Offshore working for the BIMEP

Zumaia Offshore, S.L. has developed several projects for the Biscay Marine Energy Platform – bimep during the past months. In collaboration with Azti-Tecnalia, a bathymetric survey of the bimep area seabed was carried out in June. This survey provided helpful data for the upcoming sub sea cable deployment operation. Subsea cable instalation in Guinea

Our “ZUMAIA VII” multicat has just finished a 4 month duration project in Conakry (Republic of Guinea), chartered by Denholm Offshore Ltd., whose final client was Altatel-Lucent. During this job, “ZUMAIA VII” has performed towing and anchor handling operations to allow the shore installation of a 23 Km long subsea optical fibre cable, which will soon provide faster and more reliable internet access to the Guinean habitants
